The coast in this area extends to three areas: San José de el Cabo, Cabo San Lucas, and the 33 km that connect both populations, which is known as a "Corridor". In the East, San José del Cabo, with the shade of its trees in the central plaza and its streets, is an invitation to walk more slowly to admire the colonial buildings and browse at boutiques and galleries. In Baja California peninsula is a region that keeps an interesting duality: Los Cabos. What is this dichotomy? Two tourist destinations, two personalities that are dramatically different distinguish it. On the one hand, the quiet San José de el Cabo keeps the look and air of a real Mexican village. Cobbled streets, intimate restaurants, and boutiques are part of its charm. On the other hand, the strident Cabo San Lucas, located on the other side of the “Corridor”, is the perfect place for the party, with lively bars and glamorous malls close to “the marina”.
He is known to Los Cabos as "The end of the Earth" since it is the last portion of land on the Peninsula of Baja California, this vast and generous territory shared by Mexico and the United States. It is precise because of its proximity to this country that Los Cabos denotes a great influence of the American lifestyle, in terms of urban services and shopping malls. However, it continues the charm of the village where the Sea of Cortez and the mountains meet.
