A US 200 non-refundable fee must be paid in advance prior
arrival in order to guarantee airport transfer and homestay
reservation. You can make a withrawal in:
Cash in U.S. Dollars or Euros or Mexican pesos;
Traveler's checks payable in U.S. Dollars or Euros;
PayPal.com system (credit or debit cards)
Western Union or Money Gram
If you plan to pay with a bank draft
contact us, please note that bank
fee per draft would apply. We regreat that we can not accept personal checks. No additional fee required when paying with
traveler's checks. We do not accept credit cards once you are at
school.
The registration fee is a once year charge, it
is not refundable and does not apply toward tuition. No registration fee will be charged
if you return for further studies at the CICU within 11 months.
Housing fees must be paid directly to the school, who will act as the depositary. At the
end of the stay housing fees will be given to the Mexican host family. Your balance will
be refunded to you in the event of an early departure. When unforeseen circumstances force a
student to leave the program early, only fifty percent of housing fees
will be refunded in Mexican pesos at the rate of $9.50 pesos
per U.S. dollar. The host families are provided by
CICU as a service to
the student and neither the school nor the family shall be held liable for any illness or
injury resulting while the student is studying and/or staying with a host family.
Class attendance is the responsibility of the student. There will be no refunds of
tuition for failure to attend classes for any reason, including illness, early withdrawal,
dismissal from the program or other emergencies. When unforeseen circumstances force a
student to leave the program early, credit for the time remaining will be posted to the
student's record for use at a later. There is no refund or reduction in fees for a holiday
schedule.
The CICU reserves the right to change rates and/or policy without prior notice.
Responsibility
Centro de Idiomas y Culturas, hereinafter referred to as
CICU, and its agents, directors and
officers shall not be held liable for any loss, injury, death of persons, damage, accident,
delays or expenses arising from the use of any travel facilities, accommodations or services
provided herein. Nor its agents, directors or officers are liable for any loss, injury,
death of persons, damage, accident, delays or expenses arising from acts of God, dangers
incident to land, sea or air, fire, breakdown of machinery or equipment, act of government
or other authorities, wars, civil disturbances, strikes, riots, thefts, pilferage, epidemics,
quarantines, changes in itinerary, weather, sickness or from any act of omission of any
individual, firm or corporation furnishing transportation, sightseeing, accommodations, or
any other services in connection with the programs herein. The host families are provided by
CICU as a service to the student and neither the school nor the family shall be held liable for
any illness or injury resulting while the student is in the CICU and/or staying with a host
family or in any other place of the Cuernavaca city or Mexico.
CICU highly recommends to its
students to buy a medical and a travel insurance before coming to Mexico. The
CICU offers its services in
Mexico under the specific conditions established by the Mexican Government law and the
CICU
policies, and it will be the responsibility of each individual coming to this institution to
obtain the necessary documents and permits to leave his/her country, as well as the visa to
enter Mexico. CICU reserves the right to change rates and policy without prior notice and to
revise the advertised policies and schedule whenever other factors make this necessary or
advisable. |
