Traveling to Mexico

Our
school
is only 2 hrs. far from
Mexico City’s International Airport. You can take the shuttle located
outside International
exit "E". The bus goes straight to Cuernavaca to the “Terminal de Autobuses Casino de la Selva"
aprox.1 hr. and 40 minutes ride. The cost per person is $14 US dollars aprox. Or if you prefer a private taxi for $ 150 US dollars (one way, for maximum two people.)

Entering to Mexico. Check your passport is
updated. It is not necessary to obtain a student visa only the
"visitor card." The
personnel from your airline will distribute applications.
After landing, be sure to give your application to an Immigration Officer
in order to get sealed and obtain enough time to stay in Mexico. If you
are a minor, you need a
notarized permission signed by both parents.
Customs. Once you get luggage and pass
through customs area, press the red button on the light pole to get
"green light". Otherwise you will be required to open your
suitcases for security purposes.
After customs you get through a crystal
gate, this is the International Exit "E". If you require a
private taxi, look for our driver holding a placard with your name on it.
Money Exchange. There are many
"money exchange houses" in the airport where you can buy pesos.
They have the best exchange rates. You may also exchange your traveller's checks
or cash in Cuernavaca at a local
HSBC bank.
